MIM MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Iftar hosted by the Congress party chief Rahul was nothing but hypocrisy of the highest order. This is for the sake of Hindu votes he opined. He also found fault with Rahul for making Pranabada sit with him after attending and addressing the RSS meet.
Earlier he also he opined that the Iftars were being hosted for votes and that they have nothing to do for the Muslims. The Congress was never interested in the empowerment of Muslims Owaisi stated. This is nothing but indulging in Vote bank politics and this at most for getting the Hindu votes. The Iftar was hosted by the Congress after a gap of 2 years and it was well attended. There were rumours that Pranabda was not invited and later they said he is being invited and was made to sit by the side of Rahul Gandhi. Hamid Ansari also attended the Iftar.
