Asaduddin Owaisi is fighting election in UP. But the political analysts say that it looks like the MIM is fighting the elections outside Hyderabad to help BJP in getting elected. The MIM is doing nothing but taking the margin from the Congress party. MIM is making a dent into the Congress vote bank there by helping the MIM indirectly.
There are also allegations that MIM is hand in glove with the BJP in some constituencies. On the other hand the police were surprised to see posters of MIM in Hyderabad on the UP election scenario. The MIM these days is making its presence felt here and there outside Hyderabad. However they did not make any harsh comments on the Modi policy of demonetization.
Here in Hyderabad and Telangana, MIM is in full praise of the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The CM has gone out of the way and gave the MIM and the Minorities what ever they have asked for. He promised 12 percent reservations, an Islamic centre in Hyderabad apart from giving land for the Muslim burial ground.
The police has pulled down posters featuring MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, striking a ‘Dangal’ pose. The posters showed Mr Owaisi in the place of film star Aamir Khan, and featured BJP president Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and former UP CM Mayawati.
The posters were put up at Madina and Afzalgunj. Following complaints by the BJP Yuva Morcha, the police took down the posters.
The MIM said it didn’t know of the posters. MIM leaders and the party functionaries said that the posters were not in their knowledge.
