Arun Yogiraj the sculptor of Ramlalla of Ayodhya said that he could not sleep properly for the last seven months. His daughter was the first critic for the Ram idol.
Arun narrated that daily Hanuman in the form of a monkey would come and see the progress of the idol in the evenings. Aruns family has been doing the sculptor work for the last 300 years.
They are from the Vishwakarma community and live by making idols from stones. Lord Rama made it possible himself and after the installation the idol got changed by itself and started smiling he said.
He could not give proper information on how he moulded the eyes with all the life in them. For the last seven months Arun was isolated from the family life and also could not sleep properly.
Now he is moving out and being praised by the world. He is planning to make small idols of the same version and they would be placed in different temples of Lord Rama.
His father is Arun’s guru and it is the family tradition to carve idols of God. Arun was present in the garbha Gruha even after the installations and could not believe that he had carved the idol of Rama.
He is a very happy man and does not believe in himself that he could carve this idol with all the life and smiles. He is busy with the media giving details on the carving of the Lord Rama idol.
