Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is believed to have decided to go for a carpet bombing across the state in all the districts from this month’s end.
He is all set to resume tours to districts and hold public meetings in all the districts. This will be completed in the next two months to come after announcing the first list of the BRS candidates.
Twenty new faces will come into the scene to contest the elections for BRS. The worst performers will have to face the axe.
Party sources said that he will cover all the districts in two phases in August and September prior to the issue of the poll notification, tentatively in October.
Right now he is camping in Errvalli camp office and is finalising the names of candidates in consultation with KTR and Harish Rao.
KCR will highlight the recent decisions of the state government to implement crop loan waiver scheme of up to Rs 1 lakh each, distribution of Rs 1 lakh each to beneficiaries under BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu schemes, Rs 3 lakh financial assistance under Gruha Lakshmi scheme, regularisation of VRAs and JPSs and absorbing TSRTC employees into the state government.
He will give grants then and there to the districts during his campaign depending on the requirement. He will also announce at the local level on the request of the voters or the public in general.
