Both the Telugu states are ready for elections. Both the CMs are planning to transfer power to their sons. That is the current topic for discussion across the states both in Telangana and Andhra.
Both the CMs Chandrababu and K Chandrasekhar Rao are confident that they would retain the power. People say that the elections would be held in October or November in 2018. The Centre has already started campaigning for the next elections. Amit Shah is already meeting people in the name of sampark.
While K T Rama Rao the son of Telangana CM clarified that he was not looking for power and that KCR his father would be the next CM, Lokesh the son of AP CM never talked about the Power, he is the minister for IT and it looks like he wants to be the next CM of AP. Senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy openly advocated the name of Lokesh for the CM post and said that Lokesh suits for the post.
Even in Telangana people say that KTR will be the next CM and that KCR might contest for an MP and an MLA seat in the next elections. But KTR clarified that KCR will rule the state for another 25 years. But Kavitha the daughter of KCR said that KTR will be taking over from his father whenever the need arises.
it could be the same with Chandrababu Naidu also. Both the CMs want to play it safe and look at the future with their sons in mind. Both of them have the ambition to become the kingmakers at the centre and they want an anti-Congress and BJP Government.
But the BJP is trying to woo KCR to their side. Babu is already opposed to the BJP. But the way he behaved at NITI meet showed that Babu was trying to patch up. The way KCR and KTR have been treated by Modi the PM shows that NDA is with TRS.
It a matter of month or two, that we will know about the election schedule. TRS is already in the election mode. The latest survey indicated that there is an edge for the Congress in Telangana, but by the time the elections approach TRS will be on the top and there is already a talk that the TRS will get a second term in Telangana.
