Apple CEO Tim Cook is gay and says that it is god gift. Cooke was the first CEO of a big company to open up as a gay.But cook never confirmed nor denied about his sexual orientation. Cook said he was happy to be a gay and stay with the orientation.Cook says he is very proud of it and the same was revealed to the CNN international in an interview.
Being gay is Gods greatest gift to me cook said. Being a gay helped him as a leader as they are in minority and that gave him some empathy. Prejudicial comments have also given him a thick skin cook stated. The feeling of being in a minority gives you a level of empathy for other people who are not in the majority he stated.
Cook said ….I don’t consider myself an activist, but I realize how much I’ve benefited from the sacrifice of others. So if hearing that the CEO of Apple is gay can help someone struggling to come to terms with who he or she is, or bring comfort to anyone who feels alone, or inspire people to insist on their equality, then it’s worth the trade-off with my own privacy.
