Coexistence with COVID is inevitable, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy said today. He said that vaccination is the only way to prevent infection.
He has taken the vaccination here in Guntur to kick start the program for people of age above 45 years. Jagan said that even 108 vehicles will be used and vaccination will be done for all the eligible people here.
Jaganmohan Reddy further stated that the government has mooted this massive vaccination programme like nowhere else in the country, by taking it through village and ward secretariats standing up as role model for other states.
He said that a house-to-house survey would be conducted with village volunteers and Asha workers ensuring that every eligible person in the house gets vaccinated.
Jagan that the volunteers would be collecting the details, enrol, and give a vaccination date.
After vaccination, the Chief Minister was under medical observation for a while and later he interacted with doctors and other staff here.
