Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy today has met the Home Minister Amit Shah here in Delhi. Jagan has come to Delhi to talk the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of giving special status.
It may be recalled that he would be pursuing the issue of special status with the Prime Minister and others in the Niti Ayog meeting also. On the other hand, Jagan also clarified that they did not discuss the issue of Deputy Speaker.
There was a talk that the BJP has offered the post of Deputy Speaker to YSRC in the parliament. But Jagan said that there was no discussion on that front. We did not get any offer or we did not ask for anything replied Jagan. But the reality is that the BJP does not require the support of any support as they have got absolute majority in the parliament.
But the body language shows that Jagan has gelled well with theBJP leaders. Jagan is ready to adopt the give and take policy with the ruling party for the development of Andhra Pradesh in particular.
There are rumours that Jagan has, in fact, discussed a lot of politics with the Home Minister Amit Shah also impressed upon him over the special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The BJP leaders are Maha impressed with the pleasing attitude of the YSRC leaders and Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy. He is sure to reap rich dividends from the BJP Government.
