“Hyderabad City is the best cosmopolitan city in India. The city is developing in leaps and bounds due to affordable and liveable climatic conditions and people are living harmoniously. There will be an increase of commuters from nook and corner regularly to Hyderabad.
So, the existing Outer Ring Road will not be adequate for the floating traffic in future. The Government decided for the construction of Regional Ring Road.
The Regional Ring Road will be laid at a stretch of 338 kilometres covering Sangareddy – Gajwel – Chowtuppal -Mal – Kadthal – Shadnagar – Chevella – Kandi. The width of the road will be 500 feet.
The proposed Regional Ring Road should surpass the existing Mumbai – Pune, Ahmedabad – Vadodara express highways. The junction roads connecting Vijayawada, Mumbai Bengaluru, Nagpur are to be developed.
At these junctions the government will accumulate 300 to 500 acres of land and provide amenities like parking, food courts, restrooms, parks, children play area, shopping malls, drinking water, toilets.
The Regional Ring Road should be on par with the international standards. Officials should visit various countries and study the existing High ways and amenities provided” CM said.
