Bhoomi Puja was performed towards the renovation and restoration of the ancient and historical temples located in Sirisilla and Ellareddipeta in Telangana State by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with the Honourable Minister of TS Sri KT Rama Rao .
Speaking on the occasion he said, under the instructions of the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, TTD has been doing a great service to Hindu Dharma Prachara by constructing temples in all important places across the country.
He said as part it the ancient temples of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara temple in Siricilla and Sri Venugopalaswamy temple in Ellareddipeta will be renovated at a cost of Rs.2 cr each.
He also said so far 2500 temples have been constructed in both the Telugu states and also in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Pondicherry with SRIVANI funds seeking divine intervention for the welfare of the people of the twin Telugu states.
Minister KTR aspired that with the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy both the Telugu states should prosper and develop to greater heights. He also thanked the CM of AP for allocating funds towards the Jeernodharana works of these two historical temples.
Paruveta Utsavam will be observed on June 27 at the Paruveta Mandapam located near Srivari Mettu in TTD.
In connection with these festivities, TTD has cancelled Tiruppavada Seva on June 22, Arjita Kalyanotsavam from June 24 to 27.
