Senior IPS officer CV Anand took serious exception to the way the drugs case has been dealt. Talking to a youTube channel Anand said that it could have been handled in a proper manner.
He said that the case was sensationalised with out proper advice and guidance. The drug uses should have been called privately first and after proper investigation should have served notices.
They should not be exposed to the Press he opined. The names should not have come to press without proper confirmation he stated.
The advice given and taken in this case was completely wrong he said. He was indirectly hinting at the IPS officer Akun Sabharwal who dealt with the case.
Initially, Akun was projected as a hero and then later he became a zero. The CM also opined that Akun was wrong.
