He went to Modi and asked him to get up. But Modi did not stand up. having nothing to do Rahul hugged Modi and when he tried to get back Modi gave a pat to Rahul and then complimented him for the speech.
later he came back to his seat and made a wink at the PM and it was recorded on camera and the same was flashed on all the media and now even Amul made a cartoon out of it . It is already viral on the social media and other forums.
The Congress party chief lost some of his credibility due to this natak baji. But the Shiv Sena warned the BJP and Modi that more could happen because of Rahul and that it has to be taken seriously.
It was a hug by force from Rahul side where Modi was not prepared and taken aback by the act. Modi did not accept when Rahul asked him to get up for the hug.
