Union Home Minister Amit Shah today visited the Bhagyalaxmi Temple in old city located in the premises of Charminar. Straight from the Airport he drove to the temple and performed pooja here at the Temple.
He was accompanied by local MLA Raja Singh. The people gathered in large numbers at the Temple to see Amit Shah. Amit Shah,Bandi Sanjay and the MLA Rajasingh gave aarati to Bhagyalaxmi here.
Bhajan was also performed and Amit Shah clapped to the tune of the Bhajan along with the MP and the MLA. The people also chanted mantras along with Amit Shah at the temple.
The deity was decorated beautifully today during the visit of Amit Shah. Earlier Akabra the MIM MLA talked in an abusive language against Bhagyalaxmi devi also.
He was taken to task by the Congress Government. The police had a tough time in controlling the crowds here at Charminar. It was like a festival at the Charminar while the pooja was performed.
The State Government also objected to the way the BJP leaders were visiting the Bhagyalaxmi Temple in the old city. Later he started the campaign from the historic Charminar.
Heavy police bundobust was arranged at the Charminar for the Home Ministers visit. Amit Shah greeted the crowds with a victory sign. Later he addressed a meeting at Warsiguda along with Bandi Sanjay and others.
