As part of Telangana Liberation day, Union Minister for Home Amit Shah today paid rich tributes to the soldiers at the martyrs Memorial here at the Parade grounds, Secunderabad.
He placed a wreath at the memorial and saluted the sacrifices that the soldiers did for the Nation. He also signed a register and then paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallbahi Patel.
Then he took the salute of the central forces and went around the ground to see them. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, and Union Minister Kishan Reddy were seen on the stage along with Home Minister Shah here at Parade Grounds.
Cultural troupes greeted Shah with Band, Baaja, dances and art forms. A group ofNada Swaram players also greeted Amit Shah here and they played Vaatapi Gana Bhathim Bhaje.
It was followed by Bathukamma. Then the ladies played the Dappu here. It was followed by Bonalu. Then the Banjaras or the Lambadas followed the dances.
Hyderabad special Murfa and then Kolatam dancers were seen. The Liberation day is being done on the official basis as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
