The Ambanis have clarified that they are not relocating to London as suggested by some media houses. The Reliance group has purchased a 300-acre property which will be made into a business acquisition rather than for domestic purposes.
However, the Reliance group said that it’s Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited, “which acquired Stoke Park estate recently, would like to clarify that its acquisition of the heritage property is aimed at enhancing this as a premier golfing and sporting resort, while fully complying with the planning guidelines and local regulations.”
Ambanis are the richest people in India and they have the support of the BJP Government here. They will not think of moving to other countries at any point in time.
