The farmers here at Velaggapudi have been agitating for the last eight hundred days demanding that Amaravthi should be retained as the sole capital for Andhra Pradesh.

But Chief Minister Jagan is working on shifting the capital to Visakhapatnam. Botsa Satyanarayana also claimed that they will start the three capitals at the earliest.

The Governance is all set to begin from Visakhapatnam. The BJP and TDP are supporting the Amaravathi farmers for the sole capital to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The State Government which was withdrawn the three capital bills earlier is now trying to introduce the bill in the new form for the ensuing budget session in the Assembly.

the central government on the other hand has clarified that the state government has every right to rule the state from any part of the country. Today farmers including a large number of ladies are on a hunger strike at Velagapudi for the sake of Amaravathi.

Pm Modi has launched the works for the construction of Amaravathi as the capital but the Jagan Government stalled the proceedings with allegations that there was inside trading in this lands deal.

The court declared that there was no scope for any insider trading.
