The BJP is forging alliances in the eleventh hour to get some more MP seats in the coming elections and to reach the target of 400 seats. In AP the alliance was announced but there is no clarity on the seats allocated to the NJP.

BJP Chief Purndeshwari, Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP Chief Babu are in Delhi and have met Amit Shah the Union Minister and an accord was reached they say.

So far, there is no official confirmation from the BJP’s top leadership on the issue of AP BJP’s alliance with the TD-JS combo. There is also no clarity on how many Assembly and Lok Sabha seats will be allocated to BJP in Andhra Pradesh.

Leaders and aspirants from Telugu Desam, Jana Sena and BJP are eagerly waiting for the issue to be resolved expeditiously so that they can start aggressively campaigning in their allotted seats.

But the YSRC still claims to come to power in the coming elections. Leaders are deserting YSRC day in and day out. The Alliance is growing strong and there is already talk for the TDP coming to power.

The YSRC has already started spending time and money on the votes. It has changed candidates and given the winning horses seats as per the latest surveys.
