Garuda Seva is the most prestigious procession of the Brahmotsavams said TTD Chairman Subba Reddy. Lakhs of pilgrims are coming for the Brahmotsavams he said.
The parking for the pilgrims will be arranged at Alipri only and they must come in the buses to the Hills he said. TTD has restricted the entry of two-wheelers on its Ghat roads from 12 noon of September 30 till 12 noon of October 2 in view of Garuda Seva on October 1.
The devotees are requested to observe and follow the same in view of themselves as well the safety of others and co-operate with TTD.
The entire success of nine-day Brahmotsavams depends on how best we offered services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims on the day of Garuda Seva, said TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy.
Addressing the TTD senior officers and employees who have been deputed discharge duties at various points in the four Mada streets for Garuda Seva in the Brahmotsavam Conference Room set up opposite Rambhageecha on Friday.
The TTD EO directed that the facilities which we provide to the devotees on an important day decide the success of Brahmotsavams. “So all the deputed staff should discharge their duties and responsibilities with more patience, efficiency and dedication”, he reiterated.
The on-duty officials in East, West, North and South Mada streets should ensure that every devotee gets the food and water supply. “If any problem is there, it should be immediately taken to the notice of the concerned official for redressal without any delay”, he maintained.
He said as per TTD board decision all VIP Break ₹300 SED and other privilege Darshan have been cancelled to provide common devotees maximum leverage in Darshan.
Since September 27 daily 55,000 to 65,000 devotees had Srivari Darshan and the numbers are expected to increase from Thursday onwards and TTD is geared to accommodate the rush of devotees with extensive arrangements in Anna Prasadam etc.
