The NDA Government has convened an all-party meet on Monday to see that the winter session of the parliament is conducted smoothly. The centre led by PM Narendra Modi will request the members of all the political parties for running the session smoothly.
This will be the last full-fledged session of the parliament before the general elections to be held in 2019. On the same day of the session, the results of the 5 state Assembly would be declared and this will have a bearing on the conduct of the session.
If the BJP loses then it would be difficult for them to run the session.
The results of the 5 states will also have its effect on the coming general elections.
They will set the agenda for the next Government it can be said.
The session was supposed to be held in November, but due to the elections of 5 states, it has been postponed to December. Triple Talaq bill and other bill are supposed to come for approval in this winter session. Fireworks between Prime Minister Modi and Congress chief Rahul are expected in this session.
