The New year cakes sale is very high this year.Many of the families would welcome the new year by cutting the cakes. Some of the Temples in the city are being kept open till late in the night. There are some Ayyappa Bhajana being organised in the city. But as far as law and order is concerned there is no compromised said the CP. The security will be beefed up for the night and there will be no let-up. The TV channels are also airing special programs for the night to usher in the new year.
