The floor test of the Sena Government will be done this noon. The NCP and Congress are supporting Sena and it may not require any others support for winning the floor test today.
People call it an unholy alliance, but Sena has got the Chief Ministers post for Uddhav, which has been the dream of the party founder Bala Saheb Thackeray.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has thanked the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi for supporting Sena and also giving the Chief Ministers post. Sharad Pawar the NCP Chief was instrumental in getting Shiv Sena to power in Maharashtra.
Even after Ajit Pawar crossed over to BJP, the Senior Pawar was confident that Uddhav will be the Chief Minister. Supriya Sule also did her best in keeping the flock together and getting the MLAs back into the NCP fold from the BJP.
The three parties have the required numbers and it is all set to be smooth sailing for the Sena in the Assembly today. There is time till the 3rd of December, but Sena chose to prove the majority today.
The protem speaker will oversee the proceedings in the Assembly. The mandate given by the people was for the Sena BJP combine. But Sena wanted the CM post and they had to join the NCP and Congress combine.
