TDP leaders cadres and people in general apart from the Legal fraternity are looking at the Supreme Court for the final verdict in the skill case pertaining to former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
The Supreme Court is supposed to give a decision on the quash petition filed by Babu’s lawyers. There is a huge TRP for the live streaming of the arguments in the Supreme court in this case.
Some TV channels are discussing the issue on a daily basis. They say no FIR, No evidence but is on remand in Rajahmundry jail. The TDP is mounting pressure in various ways, but Babu is not getting the relief.
Four cases in all are pending against Chandrababu. If the case is considered under 17A , Babu will get relief in all the cases as the issue pertains to the tenure when he was the CM of United AP.
The arguments are over and the final verdict is pending before the Bench in the Supreme Court. The matter has been represented to the President of India Murmu by Lokesh the GS of TDP.
The issue was raised by Lokesh and Purandeshwari in front of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Babu has applied for Bail, interim Bail, and also quash petition in his cases. The High Court has rejected the bail in one case and a case is pending in the Supreme Court.
The health condition is getting worse for Babu with skin disorders and dehydration. The personal doctors were allowed to visit Chandrababu for treatment.
People are of the opinion that it would have been better if he was allowed to be under house arrest. Babu is getting a lot of sympathy as he is in jail at the age of 73.
Let’s hope Babu would come out of jail at the earliest on humanitarian grounds.
