All commitments must be met in Budget

The Chief Minister said that the budget to be presented to the state assembly should be formulated in such a way that it includes all the commitments made to the people and maximum budgetary provision is made for the welfare of the people and for the development of the agriculture.

CM held a review meeting on budget formulation at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday afternoon.

CS SK Joshi, Finance Advisor GR Reddy, Principal Secretary Rama Krishna Rao, CMO Principal secretary Narsing Rao and others participated.

The CM said that adequate budgetary provision should be made in such a way that the commitments made in the recent elections would be fulfilled and also the existing schemes would be continued.

There was a detailed discussion about government priorities, schemes and the expenditure likely to be incurred on them.
