The movie Cuttputlli is an official remake of the super hit Tamil thriller, Ratchasan. Movie lovers who have watched both versions are of the opinion that Cuttputlli makers have ruined one of the finest Indian thrillers, as the remake is lost in translation. Incidentally, Ratchasan’s Telugu remake, Rakshasudu, starring Bellamkonda Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran, was a decent hit at the box office.
These days the audience in Bollywood are not liking remakes. The remakes like Jersey and Hit were also flops. They were made by Dil Raju.
