Akkineni Nageshwar Rao has always been a shrewd man who was close to all the Chief Ministers and never joined any party. He behaved in the format of a cat on the wall and derived all the benefits required from the respective Government.
In the same manner, Nagarjuna will also take the benefit and will never join any political party. When enquired whether Nagarjuna will be contesting the next elections, Nagarjuna replied saying, “There are speculations about my political entry for the last 15 years.
This news is emerging, whenever there are elections in the AP. I hope, that answers the question.”
He also said it’s the best phase for the industry, as films with good content are becoming super hits. “It’s a very good time for creativity and the Telugu film industry is in a good shape.”
This clearly indicates that he will not contest or come into politics like his father Akkineni Nagehswar Rao. Akkineni was the advisor to Government in Chandrababu’s regime.
He was close to all the Chief Ministers and moved with them according to their needs. In the same fashion, Nag is close to Jagan and also KTR. They always wanted to be non-contorversial persons.
So Nag will definitely not contest on the YSRC ticket.
