We have seen people celebrating the alliances and seat sharing with sweets or laddoos. But here Akhilesh has finalised the deal with bua Mayawati by offering her the favourite Seethaphal icecream. Yes the ice cream with Natural Seethaphal flavour. They made the Congress party of no significance and are going ahead with the deal in Uttar Pradesh one of the biggest states in terms of seats for the parliament.
One has to win a majority of seats in UP to get power at the centre. In 2014 BJP got more than 72 seats and Modi became the Prime Minister. But the BJP cannot pin hopes this time on UP, they are looking at the South. But it one-way advantage to the BJP as the Congress is out of the Mahagatbnadhan.
While Mamata is being projected as the possible PM candidate, Mayawati is also looking at the same. Both Akhilesh and Maya are optimistic of the majority that they would get in UP.
Both Maya and Akhilesh will announce the seat-sharing on 12th January. With UP going out of the hands of Congress, the dreams of the grand alliance are shattered.
Multicorned contests are expected in the election 2019 with advantage to the BJP.
