MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi will be elected as the protem speaker and he will see that G Prasad will be appointed as the Speaker of the Assembly in the Congress Government.
Akbar was the floor leader for MIM and the leader of the opposition in the last assembly in the BRS regime. There is a talk that MIM might shift its support to Congress in the name of development.
MIM has been friendly with all the Governments of all the political parties from time to time in the name of development. Akbar is close to Revanth and they are good friends.
This makes the situation easy for both parties. Now Revanth is planning to do more than KCR for the Muslims. Muslims this time voted for the Congress in a big way ignoring the suggestion of the MIM.
MIM was with TDP,Congress and BRS one after the other. Now they may come back to the Congress they say. Akbar has already called Revanth and congratulated him.
The Assembly would function for 4 days with the swearing-in of the new Speaker and also the MLAs. Some issues also will come for discussion. CM Revanth is going to Delhi for allocation the portfolios to Ministers and also filling another 6 berths in the Cabinet.
He has reviewed the power situation in the state.
