AIMIM floor leader and the leader of the opposition in the Assembly challenged the police to arrest him or kill him. He had a tiff with the police when the police tried to warn him about the election code and public meeting.
The DCP on the other hand clarified that the police did not climb onto the dias as alleged by the MIM leader. The issue was raised in all the forums and Asaduddin is finding it tough to answer for his brother .
Akbar on the other hand is not new in challenging the police from time to time. He also abused lord Rama and said would take on the people if the police don’t interfere.
The police complaint stated that Akbaruddin, who is seeking re-election from Chandrayangutta, became aggressive when the police officer approached him with a request to finish his speech as the 10pm deadline was nearing. Akbaruddin, the complaint said, got agitated and allegedly asked him to go away, threatening that “the crowd would drive the police away at his very instance”.
“Nobody can prevent me from addressing this public meeting. It is not yet 10pm. You can ask me to stop if it is 10:01pm, but there are still five minutes left. If I ask my supporters here, they will drive the police away.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking that Akbaruddin has become weak after facing bullets,’’ he, according to the complaint, had said.
