Agri ministers meeting

DGP Anjanikumar said that various departments should work in coordination to successfully organize the prestigious G-20 Agriculture Ministers’ meeting which is to be held on 15th, 16th and 17th of this month in Hyderabad city. A security coordination meeting held with various departments at the DGP’s office today with regard to the security arrangements and management of the G-20 Agriculture Ministers’ meeting.

Additional DGs Abhilash Bist, Vijay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Cyberabad Commissioner Stephen Ravindra, GAD Director Arvinder Singh, NSG, IB, Passport, Customs, Fire, Agriculture and Culture Department officials attended this meeting.

On this occasion, DGP Anjani Kumar said that security arrangements are being made for these meetings which will be held for three days from 15th in Hyderabad. He said that a large number of Ministers, Higher Officials, Government of India Secretaries and eminent Scientists of various countries will attend this meeting and appropriate security arrangements are being made for all of them. He said that suitable arrangements are being made at the Shamshabad Airport to welcome the national and foreign delegates attending the meeting. The DGP said that these meetings will be useful to showcase Hyderabad as a Hi-tech city. The concerned central organizations were advised to focus mainly on cyber security. A separate multi-agency command control room has been set up to monitor security issues. Meanwhile, Director of Culture Department Harikrishna said that more than 300 artists are organizing special exhibitions to introduce the cultural art forms of Telangana to the G-20 meeting.
