RRR the mega movie and Radheshyam have been postponed due to adverse market conditions. Now the latest is that Acharya may also be postponed for the coming summer.
The ticket rates are very low in the state of Andhra Pradesh and it might take some time for the issue to get settled. The matter is in court and it will be taken up next month.
Till such time the ticket rates will not be revised in AP. With two major movies being postponed the producers of Acharya, that is Koniela productions are also contemplating shifting the movie to Summer.
So there are no big releases for this Sankranthi. The theatre owners in Telangana have also reduced the rates taking the AP scenario into account.
Now the highest ticket rate in a multiplex is Rs two hundred. With NTR, Chiranjeevi and Prabhas going for the postponement all other movies with regular budgets are getting ready for release.
