Jagan may keep quite, but I will not said K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for industries from Telangana. If needed he is ready to go to Vizag and stage a dharna for the sake of employees.
Now Chiranjeevi the mega star who was earlier a central Minister also has decided to fight for the sake of the Visak steel plant. Chiranjeevi as such likes Vizag and he was interested in building a house also here.
Chiranjeevi recalled the slogans ‘Visakha Ukku – Andhrula Hakku’ and said he could still hear those slogans. The Megastar also recalled his college days at YS College, where he was part of many agitations and protests.
The mega star remembered the great agitation in which 35 people along with a 9-year-old kid sacrificed their lives for the Vizag steel plant.
Chiranjeevi found fault with Government’s reasons to privatize the Steel Plant and asked the Central Govt to take the decision back.
Jana Sena chief and the brother of Chiranjeevi who is also a popular film star is supporting the cause of the employees. Almost all the political parties are against the decision of the central Government.
But Central Government has clarified that they will privatise the Vizag steel plant or sell it away. There are allegations that the Jagan Government was hand in glove with the centre.
