DK Aruna has been fielded by the BJP to convince Konda Vishweshwar Reddy to join the BJP. Konda in fact knows all the top leaders of the BJP in the state and also in Delhi.
But he has no clarity so far on which way to go. Konda was almost threatened in the TRS and he was forced to join the Congress for the MP ticket. Now that the Congress is in ICU he wanted to start a new political outfit.
As Etela opted for the BJP, now Konda wants to take the option of the BJP. His talks with the BJP leaders have already completed several times. He spoke to Kishan Reddy the union Minister several times on issues and Kishan always wanted Konda to join the BJP.
Konda is a sober personality and he cannot stoop low to conquer. Konda first depended on Kodandaram, but Kodandarma is also sober man and not fit for politics in general.
So the best option for Konda is take shelter under the BJP for the time being. Vivek Venkatswamy is also after Konda to join the party. Both Konda and Etela are in touch with some disgruntled MLAs from the TRS, and a few of them might join the BJP soon.
But KCR is already in touch with the disgruntled elements in the party. On June 2 he was seen in the company of Madhusudana Chary at Prathi Bhavan.
He is talking to MLAs on phone to keep the flock together. All said and done Konda and Etela along with Vivek will make a dent into the image of TRS.
