After AP the government of Maharashtra and Virgin Hyperloop One have tied up to make Mumbai-Pune travel faster than ever before.
Back in November 2017, Virgin revealed that it was identifying potential routes and analysing the high-level economic impact and technical viability of Hyperloop transportation solutions in India.
And now, according to a report , at the global investor summit, Magnetic Maharashtra, Virgin Chairman Richard Branson confirmed that they will be soon beginning work on this project.
Branson said that his company has signed an intent agreement with the state government of Maharashtra to develop a Hyperloop route between Pune Central, Navi Mumbai International Airport which was proposed at the same summit, and Mumbai.
