The dialogues, the translated dialogues, and the diction of the dialogues in the popular movie Adipurush is distorted and also awful. The director Om Raut and the people who vetted the movie, especially the censor board members just ignored it.
Some foolish masala Hindi movie dialogues were added to the movie and the same was translated into Telugu also.
Now all the cinema halls in Kathmandu will stop showing Indian films from today as per the instruction issued by the KMC, said Nabin Manandhar, spokesperson of the KMC.
The theatres may show Nepali films instead of screening Hindi movies he added.
Mithila, where Sita was said to have grown up, is currently in Nepal. So Nepal took offense when the movie called her the daughter of India. Nepalis believe Sita is their daughter, and Lord Ram is their son-in-law.
The dialogue on Sita is not the only problem Adipurush is facing with audiences. In India, the movie has been criticised for its poor VFX, offensive dialogues, and below-average performances from the actors.
Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla said the makers of the mythological epic film have decided to “revise some of the dialogues”, after the film was criticized heavily for its roadside language.
In some portions, Prabahas is heard as saying baw, baw, baw with his loud mouth. Some dubbing artists should have been used for Prabahs in Hindi language.
