Aditi Rao says some actors are insecure. She was recently seen in Sanjay Dutt’s comeback vehicle Bhoomi, in which she played the role of his daughter. Aditi says that she is happy with the critical acclaim that her performance has been garnering, more than the film’s overall performance at the box-office.
“I am overwhelmed with the response that our (Sanjay and my) performances have received so far. It was a lot of hard work, but it was a new space for me, something I had never done before. I even got a chance to work with people I haven’t worked with before, and the setting was also unfamiliar, in the sense of it being a film set in a small town.”
She adds, “I have done different kinds of movies. More than being happy, I am relieved that they worked. Many people from the South have been texting me — from journalists to people who are least expected to say it!” The 30-year-old will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum-opus Padmavati.
