CP discussed Free registration of Cases, Visiting of the scene of offense and collection of evidence, Preparation of plan of action in every case, Panch witnesses, Proper Interrogation, Reconstruction of the scene of the offense, Technical Evidence (Connectivity to accused), Notorious criminal Tracking and Documentation, Prevention of crime, Hot Spots analysis , Human Intelligence, Prosecution, Property handover to Complainant.
In this course, all the CCS Inspectors & SIs, DIs & DSIs, Crime writers & Asst. writers, Fingerprint teams clues teams were trained on how to deal with criminals during case registration, after the arrest of the accused, charge sheet, Prosecution, Minute practical problems facing in field level, Practical examples, Crime Detailed Form (CDF), Judgments – Reason for Acquittals, Free Interaction to officers and men, Best Practices discussed, Feedback, Examination, PT Cases – Addl. Charge Sheet, Sec. 75 IPC – Enhanced Punishment, Sec. 19 MV Act – Mode of transportation used in the commission of the offense, PD ACT – Disturbance of public peace & tranquility, Notorious Criminals– Surveillance, etc.
In this training, all the officers learned many things and should implement them to investigate the cases to get the convictions. Free registration of crime is important to reduce the crime rate. Documentation is important in an investigation. Everything should be recorded. Always remember criminals left something on the spot. Police should develop Human intelligence. The investigation officer should go to the spot, collect the scientific evidence.

DCP said., this refresher course was conducted to train the Police officers on how to investigate properly. It is to know that investigation of the case is as important as the detection of the case.
