K Chandrasekhar Rao the TRS boss said that Achanpet will soon get irrigation water for 1.5 lakh acres.H e agreed that there was some problem for the irrigation water here. KCR was speaking at an election rally here and opined that this constituency is backward area and it has to be developed in every aspect. The Klavakurthy lift irrigation project will get water for the area and as promised one and half lakh acres of land will come under the irrigation he said. He was confident that with peoples appreciation the TRS will come back to power.
People came in large numbers to see him and hear him at the meeting. But he was not in his usual and aggressive style. He was talking in a convincing manner and explaining to the people that there was the need to continue the development in the region. He also promised an eco-tourism project here on the request of the TRS candidate G Balaraju. Motorboats would be purchased and the ecotourism will be developed so that they would get the revenue here. The idea is to develop this remote area in a big way KCR assured.
