AAADA gets pat from IACF

“All Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse” (AAADA.org) founder Adarsh Konda has been praised by Indo-American Community Federation (IACF) at its 16th Annual Unity Dinner event held on March 24, 2017 in Milpitas, California. IACF Chairman Mr. Jeevan Zutshi, during his speech at the unity dinner, commended Adarsh’s efforts in promoting awareness about implications of alcohol and drug abuse.

This event was attended by many high-profile elected officials that included Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley, Consul General of India Venkatesan Ashok, California State Controller Betty Yee, California State Board of Equalization Chairwoman Fiona Ma, California State Assembly Members Kansen Chu, Bill Quirk and Ash Kalra, Mayor of Fremont Lily Mei, Ex. Mayor of Milpitas Jose Esteves, Mayor of Cupertino Savita Vaidhyanathan, Fremont City Council Members Raj Salwan, Rick Jones, Vinnie Bacon, Dave Bonaccorsi, Board President of Cupertino Union School District Anjali Kausar, Fremont Unified School District Board Trustee Dr. Yang Shao, Alameda County Water District Director Aziz Akbari, Union Sanitary Board Trustee Anjali Lathi, Fremont Police department Captain Kim Peterson, and many others.

AAADA gets pat from IACF

AAADA had set up a booth at this event and distributed fliers to promote awareness about implications of alcohol and drug abuse. The event was well attended by over 300 guests including the elected officials. Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley, California State Assembly Members Bill Quirk and Ash Kalra, Fremont City Council Member Raj Salwan, and other guests have stopped by the AAADA booth and encouraged and applauded the AAADA team for its efforts.
