Lakshmi Parvathi, the second wife of the late NTR, expressed her unhappiness on the choice of RGV as director. “He showed NTR in a cruel role in his earlier films and I don’t expect that he will do justice to him in this biopic. I have my doubts about his ability as director and NBK as an actor,” she said in a statement. On the other hand Posani Krishna Murali a writer and actor said that fans will hit RGV with a chappal if anything goes wrong .
Junior NTR who is busy with his movie release did not comment on RGV direction as it is related with Balaiah Babu and his acting as senior NTR. But there is full hungama and interested about this movie in the cine circles. Some of them are ridiculing about RGV and direction that too for the senior NTR.
Big directors who decline to name themselves opined that the script should be made by Parachuri brothers a they know the NTR very well . They worker very close with him. When it comes to direction, there is no one better than Raghavendra Rao.
Ram Gopal Varma is all set to direct the much-awaited biopic in Telugu on the late legendary actor N.T. Rama Rao. The director himself confirmed the news, saying that he is writing a script on the actor. NTR’s son Balakrishna had already announced that he is playing NTR’s role in the film and with RGV now confirmed as the director, the film is expected to go on the floors this year end.
Though initial reports stated that the script work was being done by someone else, RGV confirmed that he is writing it on his own. “There are a few controversies on the actor-turned-politician’s life and I want to show the stories behind them,” said RGV in a press release. He also released a video with his voiceover, talking about NTR, saying that he would also reveal who his enemies were. The video ends with a song sung by the director.
“As a director, I feel proud to make his biopic and want to reveal the real enemies and culprits who worked against him,” said RGV. He praised the late actor and called him the pride of the Telugu people and a towering personality.
