Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has hailed the successful launch of PSLV-C 38 by ISRO and wished that the scientific and technological advancements achieved in the recent past should continue. The CM also hailed the launch of Cartosat 2 E, which will be useful in finding the underground waters and Satellites of other countries.
The Chief Minister hailed Sri Vaasala Narsaiah, a writer based in Metpally in Jagityal district for getting the national award for Children’s literature. He said it is befitting for Sri Narsaiah who authored several books, hundreds of stories for Children to get the prestigious award. He hoped that Sri Narsaiah would continue to pen stories for the Children, which will help them to imbibe good values in life.
The Chief Minister has expressed happiness over Ms Mercy Margaret for getting the Central Sahitya Academy award for literature under the Youth category. He said Ms Mercy’s poems which have reflected the sociological issues won all round appreciation. The CM said Ms Mercy who is working in Women’s Degree College in Kacheguda should continue her writing and win many more such awards.
