Making one hundred crore with one movie is not easy. That is what our ace film maker Rajamouli has done. He is now searching avenues to invest this kind of money as a sleeping partner. His friend Sai Korrepati, a producer , who is expert in such dealings, is reportedly helping Rajamouli in this matter.
On the other hand to stay away from the city buzz Rajamouli is planning to move out from the current apartment to a palatial villa in the outskirts of Hyderabad. He will be using this current residence as office for the story discussions it is reported.
The director is now next only to Rajakumar Hirani as per craze is concerned in Indian film industry. But he has become a bigger director than Hirani in terms of remuneration.
Rajamouli has directed eleven films so far. Apart from one or two averages all the movies he directed were blockbusters.Thanks to the mega success of “Baahubali 2”, Rajamouli has now become one of the richest filmmakers in India. Even a big gun like Karan Johar is after Rajmouli these days. He wants the director to make a movie with Prabhas.
The shrewd director has been delivering hit after hit, the real big money he has seen is with this movie only.As per the agreement he made with the producers, he is said to have received more than Rs 100 Crore from the business of second part of “Baahubali” series apart from the regular remuneration.
Now he is looking at several options to invest this huge money wisely. There is a buzz that he will be investing in real estate ventures in metro cities in South India. But he has not bought any land as yet.
There are rumors that the AP CM Chandrababu has asked Rajamouli to invest in Aamaravathi for theatres and other forms of entertainment parks and contribute for the development of the state apart from designing the state.
The directors relative Raghavendra Rao is also very close to Babu and Babu has suggested Raghavendra rao to contribute for the development of the state.
