The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) will garner 111 seats in the 119-member assembly, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said.
Addressing the TRS Legislative Party meeting here on Saturday, the chief minister said he had commissioned a survey and the findings of it reveal that TRS will get 111 seats, the AIMIM will come second with 6 seats and the opposition will garner 2 seats. He also called on the party cadre to remain neutral on the issue of presidential elections.
TRS celebrations on completion of three years in office, party posts and government posts were also discussed at the party meeting. The survey shows that the TRS will make a clean sweep if the elections are held. That means the BJP will not get a single seat as suggested by the CM KCR earlier.
