Rajinikanth inching towards BJP

Is Rajini coming into politics . Will it be BJP for him. Is he trying to come into politics after due consultations with his fans. That is the reason he has given a weeks time for his fans to interact with him. Rajinikanth had earlier announced he'd meet his fans in April and get group pictures clicked with them but rescheduled the meet and greet session after fans insisted on getting individual pictures. Rajinikanth said in an audio message: "We had decided to invite 1,800 to 2,000 fans of them to participate during the meeting. It was my desire. But, later, we realised that it is not practically feasible to take individual photographs with everyone during the meeting and had decided to take photo sessions in eight member groups. Since we realised it is difficult to take pictures individually, we decided to postpone the meeting. We are planning to conduct it in future by inviting fans from two districts each and take pictures with them individually." Rajinikanth was last seen in Pa. Ranjith's Kabali in which he played a Malaysia-based don. His next film2.0 will release in January. The Shankar-directed film is a sequel to 2010 film Enthiran (which released as Robot in Hindi). 2.0 also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to meet his fans after a gap of nine years starting today at his Raghavendra Wedding Hall in Chennai. On Monday, fan clubs shared pictures of Rajinikanth from the venue. The 66-year-actor, dressed in black, addressed the crowd with a smile. This week, Rajinikanth will meet his fans reportedly from 17 districts and get individual pictures clicked with them. Passes would be reportedly given to 200 - 250 fans from each district and every day three to four districts will be covered. Rajinikanth last organized a meet and greet session with his fans in 2008. Here are pics from Rajinikanth's conference with his fans.

Superstar Rajinikanth appeared to open the door to politics on Monday as he met fans at a meet-and-greet that he held after eight years. There has been speculation for years on whether one of the most popular actors of Indian cinema will enter active politics.

Dressed in a black kurta, Rajnikanth told 700 fans at Chennai’s Raghavendra Wedding Hall that he has no political aspirations, but will consider it “if it is God’s will.”

“God decides what we have to do in life. Right now, he wants me to be an actor and I’m fulfilling my responsibility. If God wills it, I will enter politics tomorrow,” he said, assuring his fans that, “If I enter politics, I will be very truthful and will not work with people who are in this to make money.”

Rajinikanth had earlier announced he’d meet his fans in April and get group pictures clicked with them but rescheduled the meet and greet session after fans insisted on getting individual pictures.
