Who has asked Rajamouli the Director and the producers of Baahubali 2 to spend a bomb and loot a double from the movie buffs. Why should the ticket include snacks also and loot the public in the process. Low budget movies like Pellichoopulu have also given lot of entertainment, did they loot like Baahubali?
Where was the need for 5 shows a day. The fans can wait. Why do we need 9000 screens?
Yes this is precisely to loot in advance before the people realise that it is just like any other movie and copy from some English movies. The media has been waxing eloquently about the movie Baahubali 2 since last one week. The ticket rates have been quoted from Rs 100 to Rs 1000./-
Movie analysts said that the idea of screening the movie in 9000 screens was to loot money before the talks spreads about the movie. If it is a good talk it is ok. Otherwise the producers might the collections in no time. The Dubai talk said that first half was good and the second half is so so. The producers and director are not confident, that is the main reason for pushing the movie with 5 shows.
These days there is no 50 days or 100 days. It is just one week in more number of theaters. It is like hit and run process.
The death of Vinod Khanna blocked the premier show in Hindi. Karan Johar who printed the invites was disappointed. The Government must put a restriction that the ticket price cannot be raised on the pretext of big budget spent for the movie. If they make big budget movies the produces should be made responsible and not the public.
Finally the movie buff should get the entertainment at a reasonable rate and they should not be penalized.
