The Assembly elections for the AP and Telangana states will be held in the summer of 2018. There is no doubt about it. Both the Chandras of the Telugu states have their own issues to be tackled and they want to take on the opposition just before the anti-incumbency sets in .
When it comes to Telangana, the BJP is already in an aggressive mode and the communists who have nothing at stake are also going on padayatras and campaigning against the KCR regime. The Congress and the TDP are doing their best to push KCR from all directions in whatever manner possible.
The BJP on the other hand has come to a conclusion that the present leadership with Bandaru Dattatreya, Kishan Reddy , Laxman is not in a position to take on KCR. They are trying to take some Reddys into the BJP fold. They will be from other parties. Both Modi and Amit Shah want to take on KCR and also Chandrababu Naidu.
First they will target KCR and the next will be Babu. Both the Chief Ministers of the Telugu states know fully well that they cannot take on the centre and also the tactics of Modi and Shah. Both the CMs know very well that the centre has enough ammunition against them that was the reason they supported Modi on demonetization. They have no choice but
to fall in line. Both of them have cases against them and the centre can in fact use them.
Now Modi wants to push KCR and Babu aside and get BJP into power. The BJP cadres in the Telugu states have been
informed to work against KCR, but the Andhra cadres did not get enough clarity over the matter. Venkaiah the central minister from Nellore is working for Andhra BJP. But there is no clarity on the leadership for Telangana.
Like Peddalu Jana Reddy of Congress, there are peddalu in BJP also who are hand in glove with TRS it is reported. So there will be a change in leadership for BJP to lead the attack for next elections.
