Whats cooking between BJP President Dr Laxman and Professor Kodandaram Reddy is not knows properly. There are rumors that both of them met and discussed about future elections. But there is another angle also. Kishan Reddy the other BJP leader met Kodandaram and has given him a big offer it is reported.
It is not confirmed officially, but there is news that Kodandram has been offered the post of Governor to Telangana by the BJP. Union Minister Venkaiah has brought in the news from Delhi and mooted the idea with the Kishan Reddy and Laxman.
Kishan Reddy offered the post to Kodandaram and was supposed to replace Narasimhan, but it is learnt that Kodandram is in a dilemma as he has to face the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao at Rajbhavan in the near future. There are rumors that Laxman asked Kodandaram to join the BJP. But the professor who thinks he is a great leader and fighter and leader on his own refused the offers made by the BJP.
On the other hand Amit Shah, the BJP President is going ahead with the strategy for Telangana. This time it will not be easy for the TRS. KTR who is planning to lead the party in the next elections will have a tough time. Ten Union ministers and National leaders have been roped in to interact with party leaders and workers in various districts of Telangana it is reported.
In Telangana BJP plans to woo all castes and give tickets in respective constituencies based on the dominant caste,” like they did in UP. BJP now has five MLAs. But there is a chance that new leaders might emerge in the process of elections or after the elections. Like Yogi Adityanath a new face might emerge from Telangana also. The BJP leaders here in Telangana are already facing the heat from Amit Shah and Venkaiah Naidu.
But one has to see what will be the out come in 2018. Yes the elections for TS Assembly will be in 2018 and not in 2019.
