Baahubali is the talk of the town. There is no doubt about it. But leaving Prabhas and Rana on one side it is reported that Anushka took the major attention from the director it is reported. Not only the director but the constumes department also took lot of care for the look of Anushka. In the first party she looked like a old lay and the depiction was easy with old clothes and chains.
But in the second part the conclusion for Baahubali 2- you need a young Anushka. Here was the real challenge for the directors, as she has put on weight and it could not be reduced as per the schedule of the shooting. They want clothes with grand style of Rajakumari who is a warrior. It is reported that they have spent crores for her clothes, archery gadgets and other outfits. We do not know what is the reality.
It’s worth to spend crores on a hero or heroine provided his or her look is main for the movie. But the producer of Baahubali has spent 20 crores on Anushka not for the costumes but for her looks. In Baahubali-1, she looked slim and beautiful throughout the movie. After that, she turned plumb for critically acclaimed flop flick Size Zero.
As she failed to reduce her gained weight, Rajamouli continued to cast her in part two as Anushka was the crucial role in the movie. Her looks are obviously differing in both the parts. Instead of going for graphics, director Rajamouli opted for re-shooting the part one scenes. The producers are quite happy to spend anything on lead roles as the movie worth it.
Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad have spent 500+ crores on two parts. Rajamouli and Karan Johar are releasing this film on 28th April worldwide. The film has already collected about Rs 500 crore and it is said that they might collect more than 1000 crores all the all the languages put together.
After all Rajamouli is a shrewd business man. Raghavendra Rao knows how to make good publicity. Its a family of movie makers including Keeravani the music director. Directors father is a story writer, then what more you want.
