Popular cine producer C Kalyan abused another producer Natti Kumar as a wild dog. Natti charged that Kalyan had links with Nayeem and this created ripples in the Telugu film industry.
The SIT has found out that some film personalities and some TS and AP politicians were involved in some deals. There are indications that the dreaded gangster Nayeem has financed some films and also recommended some females as heroines and also suggested heroines for some movies.
Some of them pointed their fingers to Natti Kumar who is having a rags to riches image. On the other hand Natti has charged that Producer had links with Nayeem.
Both of them abused and accused each other before the media and it is a hot topic in the Telugu film industry. Now Kalyan is gearing up to file a case against Natti and has demanded that Natti must give evidence against him to the SIT , which is probing the Nayeem case.
Mafia financing is not new to movies . It happened in Bollywood and it is also prevalent in Tollywood. There is no doubt about it. Now it is for the SIT to find out as to who is the man for Nayeem in the Telugu film industry. Nayeem himself was interested in making a movie on his own story. Now RGV is actively working on it.
Big banners like Suresh productions, Vyjayanthi movies and others have reduced the production of movies as the cost has increased leaps and bounds. When the industry was in slump, criminals like Nayeem have stepped in to finance the movies with the easy money that they earned out of extortion.
