After purchasing some land in Telangana and doing some agriculture in the form of vegetables now Prakash Raj the National award winner is looking at politics in Tamilnadu.
He says people have voted for Jayalalitha and not Sasikala. He was on a dharna inTamilnadu for the cause of farming community. Perhaps after NanaPatekar it is Prakash who is thinking about the farming community.
Prakash Raj extended his support to the farmers from Tamil Nadu protesting at Jantar Mantar demanding waiver of farm loan and inter-linking of rivers.
The National-Award Winning Actor stressed the need for change in Government’s non-caring attitude. ‘Farmers across the country have been committing suicides. Lacks of clear vision to solve this serious crisis is very dangerous. There is need for finding a permanent solution,’ he says.
Prakash Raj stated that everyone got the courage to speak their mind after the demise of Jayalalithaa. He dared to say none of the political leaders in Tamil Nadu were able to give the confidence to people that they are in the safe hands. He asked Sasikala’s Camp to realize people voted for Jayalalithaa in last elections.

Prakash Raj is likely to contest the upcoming Tamil Producer’s Council Polls by representing Vishal’s Camp. May be he might come into active politics also.
