Pawan Kalyan has bounced back with Katamarayudu.
Katamarayudu (Pawan Kalyan) is a brave person living in a village, who lives with his four brothers Ajay, Siva Balaji, Kamal Kamaraju and Chaitanya Krishna. Pawan loves the younger ones to the core, and sacrifices his happiness for their good. Advocate Bail Perumal (Santhanam), who bails them out whenever legal issues arise because of their brawls.
Rayudu hates the idea of marriage as he feels that his wife might create disharmony among brothers. Though brothers say that they don’t want love or marriage , all have lovers.
For their love survival, they learn that Rayudu, was in love with a girl and plan to find her for Rayudu. But she’s married now and has kids.
The brothers find another woman with the same name (Shruti Hassan),. Rayudu was not in love with that girl so much as her name.
Rayaudu falls in love with her. The villain tries to kill Rayudu’s brothers while Rayudu kidnaps goon’s son and orders to leave this village.
While travelling in train to Shruti’s village, she tells her background to Rayudu. Rowdies enter into train and he beats them. Shruti is shocked to see Rayudu whom she thought as a non-violent person..
The villain comes to kill Shruti’s Dad and family but Rayudu keeps him and his family in a safe place. The villain informs Rayudu that he had kidnapped one of his brothers, Rayudu arrives at the nick of time and saves his brother but instead gets attacked by the goon. .
Brutally attacked Rayudu rises steadily, kills the villain and his henchmen. Shruti’s Dad who is impressed with Rayudu’s valour decides to give his hand to his daughter.
The film ends with the marriage of Rayudu and his brothers. Director Dolly has done a good job and the music director has given good music suiting Pawan and his movie.
